The L-Acoustics dV-SUB is the dedicated low-frequency extension for the dV-DOSC line source system. It features a unique triple 15-inch transducer configuration designed to provide high SPL and deep bass from a compact, flyable enclosure.
System Integration
- Physical Matching: The dV-SUB shares the same width as the dV-DOSC. Its height (708 mm) is roughly equivalent to three dV-DOSC units, which allows for clean, symmetric array designs.
- Rigging: It uses a 4-point integrated rigging system that allows it to be flown at the top of a dV-DOSC array or in a standalone column of up to 4 units.
- Amplification: While originally powered by the LA48a, it is now primarily driven by the LA8 amplified controller.
- Recommended Ratio: For optimal balance, L-Acoustics typically recommends a ratio of 3 dV-DOSC enclosures to 1 dV-SUB.
