The TOA RM-200M is the dedicated remote microphone for the VM-2240 amplifier, allowing you to make both general and emergency announcements to specific speaker zones from a remote location.
- Zone Control: The RM-200M features 11 buttons (10 assignable) that allow you to select individual zones, groups, or “all-call” for paging.
- Capacity: You can connect up to 4 RM-200M units to a single VM-2240 amplifier.
- Distance: The system supports a total cable length of up to 800 meters (approx. 2,625 feet) between the amplifier and the furthest microphone.
- Expansion: If you need more than 10 zone buttons, you can attach up to four RM-210 extension units to a single RM-200M.
- Audio Quality: It includes a built-in compressor circuit to ensure clear, distortion-free voice transmission.
- Cable Requirement: Use Category 5 Shielded Twisted-Pair (STP) cable with RJ45 connectors.
- Power: The VM-2240 provides power directly to one RM-200M. If you connect multiple microphones or use long cable runs, you may need an external AD-246 AC adapter for secondary units.
- Emergency Mode: The microphone features an “Emergency” indicator that lights red when the system is in emergency mode, and a “Fault” indicator that flashes if communication with the amplifier is lost.
