The APG DX12 is a compact, two-way coaxial loudspeaker designed for high-precision stage monitoring and versatile front-of-house (FOH) applications. Like the DX15, it uses a coaxial design to provide a coherent acoustic field and excellent feedback immunity.
Design and Ergonomics
The APG DX12 is built for professional handling with features shared across the Dispersion series:
- Multi-angle Enclosure: Naturally offers 30° and 45° angles for stage monitoring, suitable for both near-field and far-field use.
- Reduced Distortion: Uses a “pure” coaxial approach without a horn to avoid mid/high frequency diffraction.
- Compact Footprint: Weighs 19 kg (approx. 42 lbs), making it a lighter, more transportable alternative to the DX15.
- Integrated Hardware: Includes two handles, protected connectors, a stand base for pole-mounting, and inserts for hanging options.
