The QSC GXD 4 is a 2-channel professional power amplifier for smaller to medium-scale PA systems. It shares the same built-in digital signal processing (DSP) and Class D amplification architecture but offers lower power output.
Integrated DSP Features
Like the GXD 8, it includes extensive internal processing that can be controlled via the front-panel LCD and rotary encoders:
- Crossovers: 4th-order Linkwitz-Riley high and low-pass filters.
- EQ: 4-band parametric EQ for fine-tuning sound.
- Protection: Digital limiting with adjustable “aggressiveness” to protect speakers based on their specific power and impedance.
- Delay: Signal alignment delay up to 50ms.
Connectivity
- Inputs: Balanced XLR and 1/4″ TRS parallel inputs.
- Outputs: Professional NL4 (SpeakON) and binding post connectors.
