According to Electro-Voice, the XS212 is built with a 13-ply weather-resistant birch plywood enclosure finished with EVCoat for durability.
Integration & Usage
- System Ratio: Electro-Voice recommends a ratio of one XS212 subwoofer for every four XLD281 or XLD291 full-range systems.
- Deployment: It can be flown in the main array, created as a separate flown sub-array behind the main array using the EV CBEAM (Coupler Beam), or used in ground-stack applications with the XGS-4 kit.
- Amplification: Recommended for use with the Electro-Voice CP3000S Precision Series power amplifier or Electro-Voice P3000RL remote control amplifier.
