The Adamson SpekTrix is a sub-compact, three-way active line array loudspeaker designed for high output and ease of use in both touring and permanent installations. It utilizes Adamson’s signature Kevlar driver technology and a patented wave-shaping sound chamber to provide consistent coverage and high fidelity.
- SpekTrix (Standard): A 5° vertical coverage cabinet used for the main body of an array.
- SpekTrix W (WAVE): A 15° wide-angle vertical enclosure designed as a downfill for the bottom of an array to cover front-row audiences.
- SpekTrix Sub: A compact sub-bass unit housing dual 18″ Kevlar drivers, featuring convertible cardioid technology.
SpekTrix Loudspeaker (Top)
The main enclosure is a 3-way active cabinet that delivers a maximum peak SPL of 139.1 dB.
- Driver Configuration: Features two 8.5″ Kevlar Neodymium drivers (one for mid-bass and one for mid-range) and one 1.4″ exit high-frequency compression driver.
- Coverage: Provides a defined horizontal dispersion of 120° and a vertical dispersion of 5°.
- Rigging: Uses the AIR™ Revolving Disc System, which is recessed within the cabinet for a discreet look and allows for one-person setup.
- SpekTrix W (Wave): A wide-angle version (120° x 15°) used for downfill at the bottom of an array or for wider vertical coverage needs.
SpekTrix Sub
A compact sub-bass companion designed to extend the system’s low-end performance.
- Drivers: Equipped with two 18″ AW18 Kevlar bass drivers in a tuned, vented enclosure.
- Cardioid Technology: Features Convertible Cardioid Technology, allowing it to be arrayed conventionally or in back-to-front pairs for true cardioid performance.
- Performance: Frequency response ranges from 35 Hz to 110 Hz with a peak SPL of 138 dB
