The L-Acoustics dV-DOSC is a compact, active 2-way line source element based on Wavefront Sculpture Technology (WST). Although discontinued since early 2012 (superseded primarily by the KARA line), it remains a highly regarded system in the secondary market for touring and fixed installations due to its precision and 120° horizontal directivity.
- Wavefront Sculpture Technology: Ensures a coherent wavefront and uniform sound coverage across large audience areas.
- Versatility: Can be used as a standalone system for speech and music, as a downfill for larger V-DOSC arrays, or as a stage monitor (drum/side fill).
- Rigging: Features a 4-point integrated rigging system that allows flying up to 24 dV-DOSC enclosures in a single array.
- Subwoofer Pairing: Frequently used with the dV-SUB for low-frequency extension down to 35 Hz.
- Amplification: Driven by the LA8 amplified controller, which provides dedicated presets for Full Range, High-Pass, and Low Extension modes.
